Summary: "Great Journeys Begin at the River" is the name of Christchurch's challenging, college prep curriculum with a 21st century perspective. In addition to rigorous course material, students learn how to collaborate, problem solve, and use evolving technology as a creative tool. Students develop the critical thinking skills that prepare them for college courses and careers, including those that don't yet exist. In a world that is rapidly changing, Christchurch teachers students how to navigate those changes with confidence. Christchurch School offers Honors options. The Learning Skills Program serves approximately 20% of the student body. A three-level ESL program is also available. The academic day begins at 9:00 am and features 85-minute classes.
